Uniform Responsibility Announcement

December 2008

1.      At the end of the season (no later than two weeks after the last game of the season), parents of each athlete will be responsible for returning their child’s team uniforms.

2.      Approximately two weeks prior to the last game, each parent will receive an email or a phone call from their team uniform coordinator informing them as to how to return their child’s CLEAN uniform. The email or call will be specific about a final uniform return date. For those that fail to turn in their child’s uniform by the final uniform return date, there will be a (per uniform) late fee of $100. Until such late fee is paid, children will not be able to participate in other Christ Prince of Peace Athletic Association sports.

3.      Examples of ways for uniforms to be collected include:

    1. Car pool pick-up
    2. Team party
    3. Dropping off uniforms at the home of the team uniform coordinator
    4. Collecting uniforms immediately following the last game (remember to thank your team uniform coordinator for the cleaning he/she will do)

4.      Examples of ways in which uniforms will not be collected include:

    1. Sending them home through the school student mail system
    2. Expecting a team uniform coordinator to come pick them up

5.      A day or two prior to the final uniform return date, parents may receive a call reminding them of the final uniform return date and the pending late fee(s).  However, not receiving a call does not eliminate a parent’s responsibility to return uniforms by the final uniform return date.

6.      If a uniform(s) is not received by the final uniform return date, an email addressing both the late fee and an alternative collection procedure will be sent from the Athletic Association.

Uniform Collector Responsibilities

December 2008

1. At the beginning of the season, as you pass out the uniforms, attach a copy of the Christ, Prince of Peace Athletic Association Uniform Responsibility Announcement and ask all parents to read and ask any questions that they might have.  Also let them know that the policy is available on EzRosters if they need to refer to it at a later date.

2. At the end of the season you are responsible for collecting your team uniforms, no later than two weeks after the last game of the season. The Athletic Association uniform board member will give you a final uniform return date.

3. Please send out an email or place a phone call to your team two weeks prior to the last game informing them on how you will be collecting their CLEAN uniforms and stating the final uniform return date. If the parents need clarification, please refer them to the Christ, Prince of Peace Athletic Association Uniform Responsibility Announcement on EzRosters.  (Please be accessible to all parents, especially non-CPOP school families. The more available you are the better chance we have to receive everyone’s uniforms.)

4. Call (do not email) those that have yet to turn in their uniform(s) a day or two prior to the final uniform return date to remind them of that they have one or two days to turn in their uniform(s) before they receive a  fine.

5. Place all uniforms in a bag with your team grade, gender and coach name (i.e. 3 F Smith) and place a note inside the bag stating the name of the player’s uniform(s) missing.  These need to be dropped off to the person collecting the entire CPOP school uniforms no later than one (1) week following the final uniform return date.
